How do communities in Malawi relate to, and value, water?

Why is this important? Understanding and interpreting ways in which social, environmental and economic factors intersect in a specific context is fundamental to the long term sustainability of water provision. The research seeks to utilise information collected from various sources and methods in Malawi to build a picture that will help inform the project, as well as contributing to sustainability and development accounting literature and knowledge.
